What a lovely little place. Wallabies by day, possums and crows by night, warm and cosy in the evenings. A lovely place to come relax and celebrate with the family. A place of true magic and beauty. Thanks, all of the Rutherfords.

Cottage was lovely & once the fireplace was mastered it was superb!! The possum is a nuisance & not afraid at all…but if people stopped feeding it, it wouldn't come & harass!!. Lovely place, but stop feeding the animals!!

Thanks for a wonderful weekend! The spa was fantastic after a freezing walk to Marions Lookout in lots of water. A big dump of snow last night made for a winter wonderland. We'll be back.

Fantastic cottage - great setting amongst the forest. We loved the wildlife- the wallabies, possums and especially the dingo - though it looked very different from the dingos in Queensland- it had stripes across it!!

What a wonderful beautiful place! Will definitely be back, had a great walk, beautiful surroundings, animals are amazing! Very cheeky possums indeed and wallabies surrounding the cabin all day & night! No snow or Tasmanian Devils, maybe next time. What a lovely cabin with cozy fire. With my most best & special friend, it was a truly amazing awesome weekend & experience.

The Tassie wanderers have returned again to the wonderful Cradle Mountain just to play in the snow!! The accommodation is very, very comfortable. Pademelons everywhere and possums thumping on the roof, what else could you want? The birdlife is smazing too. Visibility of Dove Lake yesterday was zero due to high wind and snow falling. Will go back today to see the differrence. This is our favourite destination for a quiet back to the nature weekend.

How beautiful. As soon as had eaten went outside with torch to see wildlife (didn't need it). A big possum at entrance, eager to come in. Absolutely love Tassie - the hilliness, fresh air, everything. People nice. WANT LONGER!

Something I have always wanted to do. Stay in a cottage in the wilderness by the fire & walk the tracks. Beautiful water to drink.
