Day1: Fantastic room. Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in the spa! What a great place to start our honeymoon. Day 2: Enjoyed a lovely day at Maracoopa Caves topped off by returning to this wonderful cabin. The wallabies enjoyed our sliced apple and trust us, the possum is not camera shy! Day 3: Oh no! We have to go. Our compliments to our hosts for their warm welcome and most enjoyable port. We definitely will be back . We love your backyard, whish we could take it home with us. Heaven and Earth.

What a lovely surprise, what a wonderful cabin and the smell of wood as you enter. Cradle Mountain and the talks just made it for us. We are not walkers but did so enoy all the short easy walks. The pademelons came out for us. It was a very good choice, to stay here, and will tell everyone that will listen to us. (And Soo romantic!!!)

We enjoyed our stay in "Pademelon", especially the peace and quiet, the wonderful Cradle Mountain flora and fauna right outside the door and the delightful timber aroma on first entering the cabin. The log fire was very much appreciated. Also liked how close "Highlanders" is to the National Park Information Centre and the shuttle buses that took us right into the park to the Visitor Centre, Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake - Awesome!!

The silence is priceless, the level of comfort and cosy and the setting (wildlife included) takes sme beating. All in all, wish we could stay longer. Thank you for the opportunity!

Very cosy, relaxing & quiet, such a lovely part of Australia. Hopefully we'll be back one day to enjoy it again. PS Look for the animals in the woodwork, we found a possum, emu, chiau dog, one-eyed dog, chameleon, bear, goldfish, owl, fox & E.T. Check it out!

Cradle Mountain National Park is one of those wonderfully unique places that still exists on our troubled earth. Pademelon cottage complements that uniqueness. A truly restful and most pleasant stay with some little luxuries to ensure that tranquility. A most highly commended level of accommodation. And yes, we did see pademelons - four in total!

What a terrible shame we only had 1 night here - how we want at least 2 more. Some said we are made & I think they were right. We did the Dove Lake walk with a PRAM. Can it be done? Yes. Would we recommend it? Definitely not! If you have a littlie, use a backpack carrier or give it a miss - it's a mighty effort on wheels. What a relief to arrive here again. Thank you for the great space. We feel very virtuous having carried the pram 3 of the 6km walk!!!

Had a wonderful relaxing stay at this great little cabin. Even though it rained for 3 days straight, it was always very nice coming 'home' to this lovely woodfired cabin and dry/warm up. We now plans to build something like this ourselves! Thanks.

"Breakfast with Kangaroos", the title by Bill Bryson, became true. The lovely setting reminded us of cabins of the Austrian, Swiss or German Alps.

We were lucky to see a baby Tassie devil looking out the back window. It was skipping about, quite the thing. A very beautiful place. Lovely, jubbly mate.
