Suitable for one or two couples, "Tallowwood" Cottage has an open plan design with a large separate bathroom featuring a double spa bath with shower over.
The main cabin accommodation has a queen size bed and a sofa from where you can enjoy a glass of wine while feeling the warmth and watching the flickering flames of the large woodheater. There is also a dining table and TV.
For those that like to self cater the large fully equipped kitchen is ideal with an electric stove and oven, refrigerator, breakfast bar and ample cooking and eating utensils.
A short hallway off the main cabin area leads to a separate bedroom with another queen size bed and a private toilet and powder room. This bedroom looks out into the lovely mountain rainforest and is heated by an electric wall heater.
Both beds are queen size and hand made in a traditional bush style using Tasmanian timbers for a rustic finish.
There is a balcony with railings made from natural bush poles from which you can drink in the sights, sounds and scents of the Cradle Mountain wilderness.
Window boxes outside the kitchen and living area are often used by the currawongs and brush tailed possums to peer in and wish you a good morning or good evening.
